Plat Books are now available at the Ripley County SWCD and the Ripley County Court House. Cost per book is $25.00 and were updated in 2009. To reserve your copy call (812)689-6410 ext 3.
New Cost Share Available:
Soil Sampling cost share is availale for landowners or operators of Ag land only. This cost share will be 50% of the total bills with a cap of $500 per person. These applications will be reviewed once submitted and a contract will be issued to thos that rank highest. Application is below, for questions call (812)689-6410 ext 3.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Ripley County Soil and Water Conservation District is to provide a means for all interested people in Ripley County to work together for natural resource conservation and development.
Function: To provide the public information about soil, water and related natural resource conservation; identify and prioritize local soil and water resource concerns; and connect land users to sources of education, technical and financial assistance to implement conservation practices and technologies.
